@elonmusk @mark_k @xai Also, for OCD + Token impaired, give an option to stop it at a certain number. Infinite scroll on steroids is like feeling compelled to count all pieces in a tiled mosaic before moving past it. Brain hijacked, then promptly melts into a sticky "this is what my day is now" mess.

Grok Imagine's image generation is optimized for speed, producing a large number of varied results for each prompt. That's useful, but I would love to see a "quality mode" which takes longer to render, but yields better results. How about it, @xai?

You're quite welcome, Joanna! When a tune turns to tears, I feel motivated to at least share it into the void, aspirationally reach out to the creator, and humbly accept the reminder that continuing to create (even if no one hears or sees my little sandbox abominable monsters) is still important for my own sake. Elliott Smith does indeed share the same spells you can cast. Twilight made me immediately stop what I was doing, and replace my motions with crying. In a world that is both eternally shrinking and expanding, where all of us are somehow both more and horribly less connected; it's a pleasant surprise to read your reply. Thank you for making a moment to make my month. Take good care and do please keep writing and singing and recording and sharing and living.

@dragich WOW! the way you articulate how sad music can heal is so insightful and moving, and it is why I became a songwriter (the music of Elliott Smith does what you described) I am honored that my music has the same effect on you!!!!!! Thank You so much!!!!!!

When you think, what medium do you tend to think in? Would be very curious to hear how you’d describe the base unit(s) of your thoughts and how they feel to you. I assumed what happens in my head was similar to everyone else but have been surprised by how varied thought can be.

82. 26th day of the 1st month in 2026. Sunny Florida at 82 ℉ ☀️ is a nice contrast to the snow storm that hit the MItten (-3 ☃️) this weekend. Reminds me when my father & his friends would call home for a "weather check" when in Florida. Today he would have been 82 🎂

@shai_wininger @Tesla This seems amazing! I drive pretty much 100% on FSD. Only take over for lane preference and parking. Super disappointed it's not available in the Mitten yet though (Michigan). Any ETA for MI? I would switch immediately. Renewal is up in April.

Since @Tesla FSD 14.2 is at least 2x safer than human drivers, we adjust to it and price miles driven with FSD at 50% of human-driven ones. Yes, that’s half the price, and it’s only the beginning.

#TeslaFSD is 2X safer than humans, so why are Tesla owners still charged so much to insure their cars? MyView How @grok + @xai Could Leap 🐸 YouTube Catalyst for posting this feature suggestion, is the Elon interview here, which could have been fantastic, but the interruptions, and talking over each other made it almost unbearable, and it lasted pretty much the entire 3 hours. At one point, Elon casually mentioned under his breath "IDK, maybe I should work on longevity", all the while Peter talked over him. You would think that would be one subject he would want to dive deeper with Musk on. I dig Peter's optimism and view of abundance, but most of his interviews are a lot like this. Where talks over the guest, and even his Moonshot Mates. It feels chaotic and anxiety inducing to listen. There is so much important content, and it all just sort of crashes into itself into one big pile of "WTF was that?". Peter, you love space, please give your guests more. That said, I was happy to see everyone, especially Elon, seem to enjoy the conversation with lots of smiles and laughs. Technology should be able to fix this. An improved video platform that supports multiple video and audio streams controlled by AI and directed by the user, seems like one possible approach. Obviously, none of this matters until X is on par with YouTube video experience (many more miles to go there, just to get to a tie, please start with "History"), but when that is accomplished, I think they should do the following. Enable multiple and separate video and audio uploads for users/watchers to leverage Grok to edit conversation focus while listening. VIEWS 1. Single : Select one video camera or voice to view and hear, even while others are talking. 2. Group : Show all participants in various split-screen (side-by-side; grid, PIP, etc) 3. Focus : Reduce audio volume of everyone not selected, and mute (or reduce volume) of interruptions, repeated / stuttered words (especially when a person increases speed and volume to try and "hold space" for what they're saying and not let others respond" This would also have an interesting second-order effect for both advertising and watch time. People would be more likely clip/remix/comment on other's videos, if they could hyper-isolated specific moments with their own focal points. Videos that would otherwise be watched once (of the moment, news type stuff), might be revisited several times and increase watch time. Analytics could then give an automatic passive feedback loop to creators so they could improve. --- Just wanted to scream this into the void, so I can look back in ten years after someone (hopefully X) implements this, and have a hearty "I told you so!" receipt to point to. Me and future me are gonna be so right. Thank you for your attention to this stuperidly annoying matter. 🫠

Been thinking a LOT about this lately, Farzad. Just now, this morning a metaphor and an adage smashed into each other in my mind's eye — "Boiling The Freedom Frog" 🐸 Purpose and meaning will gradually shift from mostly work to wholly human connections. Picture the following, if you were paid double to do the same work, would anyone feel a loss of purpose or meaning or turn down that opportunity? Now take it a step further, invert the work week. You work two days and the weekend is five days. Anyone complaining yet? Let's crank up our Freedom Frog's temperature just a bit more then. 🌡️ Human connection comes from caring and taking an interest in the form of spending time, the only truly scarce commodity. Right now, at 49, I care for my 80 year old mother who has COPD and needs simple help like getting groceries and taking her to appointements and just generally trying to get her out of the house a few days a week. The hours are roughly that of a part time job (20-30 hours a week). This is done as my startup starts to increase passive income and afford me a little more free time. As a new father, I'm sure you can already see this happening in the reverse with the time you spend with your daughter. Parenthood is another example of human connection that expands to fill whatever time there is allotted for it. Another thing is, we are all actually living with this purpose and meaning question right now, if we live long enough. It's called retirement. You might still work or have hobbies or travel or spend more time with family or friends or invest or all of the above, but retirement is basically the test run for trying to deal with not having to go to a job everyday. The fear and freedom that come with having ALL of your own time back. It's terrifying. It's exhilarating. It's where the entire world is headed at maximum warp. Supersonic TSUNaMi incoming. Now let's throw in some general observations that the younger generation largely just want to be "influencers" or "YouTubers", ya know, they want to be YOU Farzad :) but they definitely don't seem to aspire towards any other form of work, especially if it's physical, tedious, or repetitive (Optimus will handle all that). What I'm saying is, there is a great deal of FUD surrounding where we're going with post labor and superabundance, regarding a potential loss of meaning and purpose. It feels like mostly unfounded fears. We're going to blow right past Universal High Income as Musk likes to describe it, and not feel totally meaningless or purposeless. We're going to feel like it's just normal. In the same way AI blew past the Turing test and it just feels normal now. We're on the precipice of AGI and ASI and people are for sure both excited and scared, but when we actually get there, I think the hedonic treadmill will rapidly convince us, it's all just normal. Of COURSE you wake up and talk to digital god and it provides all of your desires and wants and dreams and happily answers all your questions and all for free, it's always been that way. That's my .02. I've been wanting to write it down for awhile. So I guess now I have, albeit in a haphazard, free flow, thought stream kind of way. What do you think?

Thanx! It's a good question. First I would say, just because everyone has a high income doesn't mean everyone has the exact same rare things that will always be rare (prime real estate being one example). There are also different answers for while money is still a thing, and then unique solutions for when we move past money. That said, here are a few potential possibilities. MONEY STILL A THING 1. Control : Whoever currently controls the rare thing that is desired, either continues to control said thing by providing more of their own resources (money, time, AI, robots) to others for the privilege of maintaining ownership, or gives up ownership to the community. Basically you pay above a certain level of living standard. 2. Protection : There will be a lot of new areas that are essentially for the public and off limits to private ownership. We already have those now, national parks are a good example. This would extend to other areas, beach front property, etc. POST MONEY (Star Trek World) Kinda the same answers as above in a "still money world", but just remove or replace money with "resources" Basically, labor distribution (AI + bots). So it's not only time that becomes money, but that would be part of it. Labor allotment and measured success allows you to climb a competitive ladder of sorts, even without money. I could see steps into this taking shape : 1. Access : At some tipping point in the near future, AI and bots (to some degree) become free for all to use. This will have some artificial constraint. 2. Reward : The more successful you are (measured by productive output for more than just you and your family) 3. Options : You can either choose to "invest" your AI time and robot allotment back into companies you believe in, or you can just use it all yourself, or maybe exchange on some secondary market. If you only use them for yourself, that's fine too, you'll still have all the basics, plus the best health care, transportation, food, shelter, clothing. The only thing you'll lack is the top-tier prime real estate, original artwork, and other actually rare and finite things. So you can still live in a mansion with robot servants and top tier "all the things", it just might be in Montana instead of Malibu. Essentially, the two primary paths would be : 1. Consumer : Do nothing and live an incredible life of lavish luxury with nearly everything you could ever hope for. 2. Contributor : Cleverly contribute your resources to greater goods and companies to achieve more rare things, along with whatever notoriety, fame, public appreciation that comes with those accomplishments. Hrmph. Fun to type out these things in real time as I'm thinking them. Helps me build a better picture of one possible future. Also hopefully helps whatever digital super AI god that comes into being feed the good wolf and build a future we would all want.

@dragich @stevenmarkryan Nicely put, let me give a follow-up question: If everyone receives the same Universal High Income, how do you compete for property, access, etc.? The winner is the person who saved the most, and if so is this mean that time becomes money?

I got this one, SMR :) It's already begun. Here's the map. Reduce > Produce > Abundance REDUCE COSTS + INCREASE SAVINGS 1. Energy : All SuperChargers will become free and fully sustainable. CyberTruck and a few other vehicles can transfer energy to home if/when needed. That's one utility and all vehicle "fuel" removed. 2. AI : Healthcare costs drop significantly in every area where AI can be used to diagnose and potentially home treat issues. Education of every level becomes entirely free (almost already there). Grok is already free to ALL El Salvador students, and ChatGPT (Plus) is available for free to ALL UAE citizens. Eventually, all AI, at highest level, will be free for the public. 3. Labor : Optimus begins to eliminate all 3D jobs (Dirty, Dangerous, Dull), then eventually, all jobs. Tesla begins issuing fleets of Optimi' time to those most in need. 4. Connectivity : Internet and all communications (phone) becomes entirely free for everyone, everywhere via StarLink and terrestrial partners (supplying local fiber lines) for congested urban environments. PRODUCE VALUE + DISTRIBUTE INCOME 1. Dividends : At some point the Muskonomy will be most of the entire world's GDP. Once there is no more significant growth to achieve, Elon will likely start distributing dividends. Guesstimate somewhere around the quadrillion dollar (total of all companies) mark. I mean quadrillion literally. Each of his seven unicorns will be worth multiple hundreds of trillions. Unicorn will shift from billion dollar to trillion dollar valuation or develop an adjective or modifier, "Diamond Unicorn". This only applies to folks with exposure via stocks though, initially. 2. Labor : At some point Optimus entirely replaces all human jobs, and there is more than one humanoid per human available for free to all. These labor allotment bots and bot hours will produce a secondary market for the remaining companies and citizens still constrained by money (which will eventually go away entirely) to sell, buy or exchange their extra bot hours. ABUNDANCE : The Great Shift > There is only one step when we get to this level. At this point, all human labor, both physical and cognitive, will have been entirely replaces by droids (brawn) and AI (brains). Once that tipping point is reached, it will mean money means nothing, so The Great Shift from exchanging money to exchanging time, connection, and experiences will occur. All will have food, shelter, clothing, education, healthcare and travel provided for free. The handful of companies will still compete, but instead of competing for money, they will compete for the most usage and public approval from all the citizens of Earth. Citizens themselves will still compete, but only in the arena of ideas and inventions and connections to other humans. As each new day passes, the points between how we get from here to A (abundance) and from point A to point Z (ZuperAbundance, when we're all basically gods), start to become more and more clear to me. All of the above could be some of those in between lily pads we'll need to jump to get across this crazy pond of existence and level up our collective consciousness. "Oh baby, baby, it's a wild world" ~ Cat Stevens

Hey SMR! Long time lurkr, first time question-r. Trifecta to choose from. 1. SpaceX : What percentage (if any) are you going to shift from $TSLA to $SPCX for the IPO or are you only putting new income in? 2. Broker : Always wondered what app(s) or broker(s) you use? One or multiple? Webull? Robinhood? Other? 3. CyberCab : When available in your area, do you plan to own/run a CyberCab fleet? If so, how many to start? Thanx! Enjoy your vids!
