@dragleon0 @Theservant53 @KevinCJesse @diplomaticynic @Amy_Fallas where in HERE did I mention that a Language's "land origin" is the ONLY criteria for Indigenous status? infact, i didnt even mention the word language here. 🤦🏽‍♂️ twitter.com/Hanvkkah/statu…

@dragleon0 @Theservant53 @KevinCJesse @diplomaticynic @Amy_Fallas as i said, to be indigenous to a land you gotta have ur culture and history founded and rooted on that specific land that ur people have been inhabiting since pre colonial time.

@Hanvkkah @Theservant53 @KevinCJesse @diplomaticynic @Amy_Fallas Yes, and language is what some believe is the core variable of cultural definitions. But the definitions are arbitrary. They are superficial. The kicker: they did have an organized language and better memories than the "civilized". So, you have a contadiction I am ponting out.

@Hanvkkah @Theservant53 @KevinCJesse @diplomaticynic @Amy_Fallas The problem with this description is, what determines cultural variables can't be rooted in language, it's much deeper than what the limits of langauge can transmit. There is something universal and whole about Human culture that supersedes what the land brings out of our genes.

@dragleon0 @Hanvkkah @KevinCJesse @diplomaticynic @Amy_Fallas Indigeneity involves the place where the core culture of a people arose. You are correct that native americans came through siberia, but by the time they got to, say, Mexico, that was forgotten- their culture and language formed in Mexico, so they are indigenous to that land.
