@corpseg0dd @dragon8er @m0nkena I never said translating a game was "easy," but it's a completely basic requirement for any game these days. It doesn't affect the game in any way, and it's requested for people outside the USA.

@gongui_jb @m0nkena And yes, it is entitled to demand Toby, an indie dev who's the most busy he's ever been (especially given his physical disability) to devote extra time and effort to learn a language so you can play the game. He is well within his right to deny that right now.

@gongui_jb @m0nkena And the reason that other language exists, that everyone conveniently ignores, is because Toby was directly involved in the process. The game is his voice. He wants to make sure any official translation matches his intent. And he can't do that with a language he doesn't know.

@m0nkena If you want the game translated e so bad, do it yourself. It's not like Toby is stopping you. Hell, he encourages it. The issue is that official translation is something he would need to be directly involved with. And he doesn't have the time or resources for that right now.

@m0nkena Toby Fox is one guy with a small team of developers at his side. Kojima is one of the most successful game directors in the world with way more resources at his exposure. It's almost poetically ironic that you can't see the difference there.
