I am trying to reference my plot made with ggplot in #Quarto @quarto_pub. You can probably see from the screenshots that I have added a label in the code and I am using `@trial1growth` to reference in the body of my report. Not working. Output is docx file.

@eeholm it is only used to exclude files for the use command right now…

@dragonstyle Ah, that's better since when I make a GitHub release, I do want the docs files in that. Is `.quartoignore` used in other ways except when installing a Quarto extension as a template?

#quartopub tip for those making Quarto extensions. When users use `quarto use template <GitHub repo name>` to install your extension into a new directory, it copies everything in the repo. If you have something, you don't want copied, use your .gitattributes file like so

@kjhealy I've found signing and notarization to sometimes be inscrutable, personally. Quarto is newish so I'm always happy to run down issues just in case there is something we could be doing to prevent the problem (e.g. different approach to signing, etc...).

@kjhealy Indeed a mystery. I think for pkg files this spctl msg is expected as they need to be checked with the `-t install` flag (which should pass). Any other clues about the error installing on other machine? Happy to help - DM me any time...

@diogenesosilva It definitely can output LaTeX (or can render to PDF using whatever PDF engine you'd like). We'd very much like to be sure we're supporting LaTeX output very well!

This would be pretty cool if could output LaTeX. Not sure if it actually can do it via Pandoc, but it doesn't seem like a major goal of the project
