1 week into residency, and placed my first order today! Omeprazole 40mg QD for dysphonia/Laryngopharyngeal reflux. Very anti-climactic but that affirmation of where I am and what I can do now is VERY cool.

Last day in the OR with our awesome head and neck fellow, Dr. Kahue. Memphis will be lucky to have her. And she gave me an emergency laryngopharyngectomy reconstruction kit. In case if emergency, break glass.

The president promised that every American would have access to coronavirus testing. But Kansas has so few tests right now that you can't get one in Johnson County, even if you have symptoms. I’m disappointed in the federal government.
