@drankin16 Fair enough. I think the gap between those three players is pretty small. They could all be ranked 5, 6, or 7.

@JamesJohnsonYYC #1 thru 10 are huge overpays for Ras. At best we are getting a first in ‘26 and a B+ to A- prospect. If we are retaining salary, maybe get a 2nd thrown in as well. I hope you are right though, James.

@RingOfFireCGY @FlamesNation I think he’s better slotted (once this team is deeper) as a third pairing guy. That said, I think he could be a valuable PK guy long term.

We didn't truly know what to expect from Kevin Bahl coming into this season.
Luckliy for the #Flames, he turned into a legit top 4 defenceman and is going to be a big part of their future.

Two things can be correct: 1. It's an absolute embarrassment NHL refs would allow McDavid to be tackled/bear-hugged in the last minute of a 1-goal game (Garland didn't get a holding penalty). 2. Hitting an opponent in the head with your stick should be suspended every time.
