@speedy_1916 Well done to the Priest. Eulogies at Mass are getting out of hand. One funeral last year, 4 adults each stood up and gave 20-min speeches. The Mass ended up dragging on and becoming quite excessive. Long eulogies are better kept for the wake or the gathering afterwards.

This is shocking, Irish funerals are sacred spaces for mourning and sharing memories,we don’t put a timer on them,the people of Ardee parish need to explain and remind this Italian priest to be more respectful,cutting someone off during reflection at such a vulnerable moment shows a shocking lack of empathy and pastoral sensitivity.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ #ArdeeFuneral
