@ReelPervert i just don't like him lol. i think he's mid, an empty stylist, i dislike the tortured women trilogy, hated ema. also an important element to this list is being prolific. he's slowed down a little recently but was making too many movies before then

@VK_HM i totally get that. and sometimes you come across a masterpiece that grabs you from the get go. but in my experience the films that create discomfort and resistance in my tired foggy brain end up staying with me for the longest time. not the ideal place to catch those tbh
