@Politicorak @FineGael @independent_ire But you’re in the United Kingdom so it’s none of your business anyway so worry about your health service, your utterly dysfunctional society, your pot hole riddled roads, your basket case economy. You’ve enough to be concerning yourself with up there.

Sinn Féin and People Before Profit were not contacted by Labour about a possible joint candidate for the upcoming Seanad byelection, but the Social Democrats say they should be included. jrnl.ie/7053259

🗣️ “I hope this by-election shows people that… we are a viable alternative in opposition.” Following the Social Democrats’ by-election victory, Holly Cairns discussed her ambitions for the party, and herself, to play a central role in a future government. #MondayGR

🗣️"Yves died a hero, his name will live on in legacy in this country" Senator Eileen Flynn needs to resign immediately! Sakila's legacy? A legacy of drug addiction, theft, and violent public order incidents.

Emotional scenes on Dublin's Henry Street as crowd gathers to mourn the death of Yves Salika. Mr Salika had a history of shoplifting from Arnott's.

🇮🇪 Nigerian woman appointed as Vice President of Fianna Fáil. A Nigerian woman who moved to Ireland a year before we tightened our citizenship rules has been appointed as the Vice President of Fianna Fáil. Uruemu Adejinmi was co-opted onto Longford Council in 2021 and then became Mayor a year later. Over the weekend she was appointed as VP, despite not even seeking nomination. The party founded by Éamon de Valera now has a Nigerian Vice President.

Yesterday, the most stupid and ignorant fuckers in Europe the “Paddystinians” decided to deviate from their “peaceful” march in Dublin City, and headed to the political party Fianna Fáil's 84th Ard Fheis (High Assembly) annual national conference.

This Friday, we have a chance to strengthen the opposition to Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil, and elect two strong Sinn Féin TDs in Galway-West and Dublin-Central. And remember, vote left transfer left!

This RTE clip is not a parody, and does nothing to dispel the notion that Irish people are being replaced and pushed aside. Interesting timing after Bertie Ahern’s comments but it is clear this was recorded beforehand (and aired this evening).
