Fucked up a lot over the years.. But.. with every mistake, learned a lesson and made corrections Threw those bricks out and replaced them with new ones Journey fucking hurt a lot.. but honestly, love where I'm at mentally and from a portfolio perspective Feel stronger and more confident than ever right now Positions are set.. 1 year, 3 years, 5.. Breakout in SF has been super bullish. Very optimistic about $TAO... haven't felt this way since the early days of Bitcoin and Solana. Thinking about writing a longer form post on my thoughts and discoveries so far, who's interested?

Finally took the time to get into @Bitcast_network's X mining I have meetings all week for Bittensor-related content I probably should've done this weeks ago 🤣

Bitcast just became the first profitable project on Bittensor. Not "on track." Not "projecting." Actually profitable. Here's what Tom Blears told me in our conversation. His brother was the first employee at Tensor Group. Tom ran an Instagram channel in Manchester that blew up locally. Together they saw the same thing: influencer marketing is slow, broken, and full of fake metrics. So they built @Bitcast_network on Subnet 93. The numbers right now: • 60+ YouTube creators onboarded • 2M+ total subscribers across the network • 30-40% month over month growth on all metrics • Landed Bitget as a brand partner, many subnets • 90% of emissions burned daily • $250K spent on emissions, ~$150K revenue and closing fast How it works is wild. Brands post a brief. Creators make videos. AI checks if the video actually matches the brief. Payments are based on watch time, not views. Not subscribers. Watch time. A creator with 10K views on a dedicated video can earn around $3K if their content does well. An integration is about $700. If your video smashes it, you earn more. If it flops, less. No fixed fees. No agencies. No calls that go nowhere. They just expanded to X using a PageRank algorithm that maps the entire Bittensor ecosystem. Only the top 150 accounts can mine. One tweet per brief. Quality over volume. Tom's target: $2M ARR by end of 2026. The play after that is Web2. Fiat payments. AI and tech brands with way bigger budgets than crypto projects. His take on TAO: "I couldn't put a number on it that would seem rational. But I think there's some irrational numbers coming up." Bittensor is valued at $3B. OpenAI just raised at a trillion. The gap is massive. And the tech is catching up fast. This is not a subnet running on hopium. It's running on revenue. P.S. if you're a creator that wants to get into Bitcast DM me & I'll be happy to connect

@thedefivillain It doesn't.. you need $TAO to buy subnet tokens In fact, it does the opposite of dilution.. as it increases buy pressure on $TAO if you want to onboard into the ecosystem So yeah.. pretty great idea imo

What a great idea to have tokens for each Tao subnet, it definitely won't dilute the buy pressure going into the main token $TAO

This would be one of the most tone deaf appointments the club has made Despite the entire fanbase unanimously not wanting De Zerbi.. the board still want to appoint him in one of the most important and toxic periods in the clubs history Its fucking madness.. A worse mini emotional Conte, who defended Greenwood through all the rape shit They bring in a tough systems manager like De Zerbi with 7 games left.. I hate to say it, but we're going down The soul of Tottenham will be well and truly gutted by the owners with this appointment

🚨 Tottenham are pushing, trying to get green light from Roberto De Zerbi for immediate appointment. Always been top target for summer but #THFC insist to make it happen now as talks are ongoing. Spurs see De Zerbi as ideal candidate for long term. 🎥➕ youtu.be/IiM2LmobKQI?si…

OpenAI will not be around in 20 years.. #Bittensor will Decentralized, open systems don’t rely on corporations.. They thrive on the collective power of the network $TAO

OpenAI has released ZERO features for developers in the last 7 days They went from open source to closed source to no API access AND give us $200 to access our top LLM!! EXTREMELY ALARMING!

People don't want to get rich slow.. They don't want to hear that it takes years of being early and being wrong.. being uncomfortable and looking dumb before anything pays off Everyone just wants a quick hit.. an easy trade and a shortcut that skips everything But that narrative is mostly bullshit.. and only steers people to the riskier and riskier parts of this predatory bullshit space that will prey on you if you let it Life changing returns come from holding whats misunderstood and misvalued.. far longer than what feels reasonable If you asked most people why they think they failed, they'd say its because they picked the wrong thing.. I honestly believe most people fail because they couldn't sit with an investment long enough for it to play out People get shaken out.. they get bored.. or scared.. before the train leaves the station.. they give up their seat to somebody else Everyone wants the ultimate outcome of wealth and success.. But very few are willing to endure what it takes to get there 🍻

The founder of @taostats, @mogmachine was buying TAO at $12. He's co-founded 6 subnets, built the wallet, the explorer, the mobile app. Runs one of the largest validators on Bittensor. He rarely does interviews. We sat down and he told the full story. From the bear market to building the backbone of a $3B network. What he shared: • How he found Bittensor in late 2022 while running nodes at the bottom of the bear market • Started TaoStats as a Google spreadsheet. Turned it into the most used product in the ecosystem • Jacob from OTF personally asked him to build the blockchain explorer. He'd never built one before • Co-founded 6 subnets. Shut down the ones that weren't working. Kept the ones that were • Built Corcel, the first API gateway to Bittensor's AI • Just launched the TaoStats wallet and mobile app. Wants to be the single interaction layer for everything on Bittensor • His take on why only about 20-30 of 128 subnets are "real quality" • Says next year is "the era of bizdev" for subnets The line that stuck with me. He said you don't know HTTP because of HTTP. You know Google. You don't know TCP/IP because of TCP/IP. You know Netflix. That's where Bittensor is going. The subnets become the brands. The protocol disappears into the background. These aren't side projects. These are actual AI companies being built.

John Fletcher (𝔦, 𝔦)
John Fletcher (𝔦, 𝔦)@Dr_JohnFletcher·
Andrej, I’m John Fletcher. I have a PhD in mathematics and theoretical physics from Cambridge, and since 2016 I have been working full-time on the problem of how to coordinate untrusted distributed compute for algorithmic innovation. I listened to your No Priors conversation and recognised the architecture you were describing: commits that build on each other, computational asymmetry (hard to find, cheap to verify), an untrusted pool of workers collaborating through a blockchain-like structure. The result is The Innovation Game (TIG), which has been in continuous operation since mid-2024. The correspondence is so close that I thought it worth writing. The short version: roughly 7,000 Benchmarkers test algorithms submitted by Innovators by solving instances of asymmetric computational challenges (SAT, Vehicle Routing, Quadratic Knapsack, Vector Search, among others). This testing is "proof of work" in the technical sense of Dwork and Naor (1992). Innovators earn rewards proportional to adoption by the Benchmarkers. The repository of algorithms is open source (github.com/tig-foundation…). The system is already producing state-of-the-art results. For the Quadratic Knapsack Problem, 476 iterative submissions by independent contributors brought solution quality to a level that now exceeds methods published by Hochbaum et al. in the European Journal of Operational Research (2025). We are working with Thibaut Vidal (Polytechnique Montréal), who has submitted a state-of-the-art vehicle routing algorithm directly to TIG, and with Yuji Nakatsukasa (Oxford) and Dario Paccagnan (Imperial College London), among many others. One of TIG’s active challenges is directly relevant to your autoresearch work: an optimiser for neural network training (play.tig.foundation/challenges?cha…), where Innovators compete to develop an improved optimiser (see screenshot). One way in which TIG extends the vision is on the economic side. In our view, a monetary incentive is required, otherwise the open strand simply cannot compete at scale. TIG’s open source dual licensing model (designed by my co-founder Philip David, who was General Counsel at Arm Holdings for over a decade, and was the artchitect of ARMs licensing strategy) is intended to solve that problem. I expect we have each thought about parts of this that the other hasn’t. Happy to talk whenever suits. John Fletcher tig.foundation
