@ReggyStev @hippius_subnet @blockmachine_io @vidaio_ Bittensor is unique because of the team's pioneering incentive mechanism based advancements in their respective fields, for one. I am not criticising, merely pointing out that the designs and mechanisms can extend beyond pure Ai use cases.

@mogmachine @hippius_subnet @blockmachine_io @vidaio_ Why to criticize the only feature of Bittensor which is unique? It is already not easy to avoid the label "secondary". How do you answer a critique that Bittensor doesn't really have a talent or a secondary one? If it had it would be bought already by a legacy mogul.

Bittensor isn't an AI network. It's a marketplace where useful, compute-oriented commodity production gets rewarded. AI sits at its core, but it's not the whole product. Storage (@hippius_subnet ). RPC infrastructure (@blockmachine_io ). Video processing (@vidaio_ ). The "decentralized AI" headline describes a feature... not the whole story. Also highlights that I don't have any machine learning qualifications. 🫣

MASSIVE @taostats fan! @RadoTsc Define 'official'. That is a loosely thrown around word these days. I am not at liberty to know who holds they keys for these packages, and am trying very hard not to throw doubt in any directions. Hopefully more info will come from those responsible soon.

@mogmachine can someone explain in simple terms how did an official bittensor pypi package get hacked? I constantly use the cli and im scared

Mog from Hippius advises startups not to give up equity too early on and first build value. When he was offered capital early on, he jokingly told the investors he would use it to buy $TAO. Would you rather get money or keep more equity?

@AssetAceArdent @taostats We we have a mobile app in both the Apple and Google App Stores which performs all of this functionality and more and will also be undergoing a visual overhaul in the next couple of months but yes we have an app in the app stores.
