@KyoshiTakeshiro @blockmachine_io This was fixed last night, sorry for the delay in getting back to you, and thank you for spotting the issue.
English

@mogmachine when upgrading from a free plan to a standard plan on @blockmachine_io, checkout doesn’t seem to start properly.
Tested with a fresh account and that flow works fine, so it looks isolated to the upgrade path only.

@potbellyman123 @proofoftalk We don't for all company comms... And are working on bringing the corpus off discord and making it available for the people (and their agents)

@proofoftalk @mogmachine Bittensor will be accountable when people stop using discord to communicate.

The Thin Line
On June 3, @mogmachine will take the stage at the Louvre and deliver a keynote on why the agent economy needs both a permissionless protocol and an accountable industry built on top of it, and why Bittensor is the only network architected for both.

@TensiaFDN @2xnmore Taostats apy has the fees calculated into the APY which is what makes our APY even more impressive as it includes the 9% take that partly funds taostats development.
English

@2xnmore Why split across 4 validators instead of going 100% on the best one like tao.bot, especially since Taostats @mogmachine already shows APY net of fees?
English

Most $TAO holders are earning 4% when they could be earning 10%.
The difference is not luck.
It is knowing which three numbers to check on Taostats before you stake a single token.
Here is the exact framework I use.
First, understand why most yield numbers are fake
Every validator page shows an APY figure.
Almost none of them reflect what nominators actually receive.
The only number that matters is the 1M APY on the yield tab.
That is real money paid to real stakers over the last 30 days, annualised.
Everything else is theoretical.
The four validators worth your attention right now
- tao. bot: 0% fee, 506,000 TAO staked, 43,000 nominators, real yield 10.5% to 11%.
- Taostats: 9% fee, 306,000 TAO staked, 76,000 nominators, highest transparency in the ecosystem.
- Yuma: 9% fee, 252,000 TAO staked, rock solid corporate infrastructure.
- TAO. com: 9% fee, 221,000 TAO staked, strongest alpha subnet bias.
How I split my stake
- 38% tao. bot
- 28% Taostats
- 20% Yuma
- 14% rotating high VTrust validators
Blended real yield: 9.8% to 10.4% monthly, annualised.
Never more than 40% with any single validator.
Check these signals every 7 to 14 days
- VTrust below 0.92 for more than 3 consecutive days: switch immediately.
- Take rate suddenly above 10%: switch immediately.
- 1M APY dropped more than 20% with a downward trend: switch.
- Red weight-copying flag appearing: switch the same day.
- Everything green: hold and compound.
The quick formula to calculate your own real yield:
Go to the Yield tab on any validator page on Taostats.
Focus on the 1M APY column. That is actual money paid to nominators over the last 30 days, annualised. Not a projection. Not a marketing number.
Or run it yourself using the nom per 1k per 24h column:
- Divide that number by 1000.
- Multiply by 365.
- That is your true APY.
tao. bot showing 29 to 30 on that column means you are earning 10.5% to 11% in real terms.
Both methods land at the same number. The Yield tab just does the math for you.
Most people staking $TAO right now are leaving half their yield on the table because they never checked this page.
All the links you need are in the reply below.
Save this. You will want it when you rebalance.

This is what I will be talking about in Paris.

This is so nice to start my week to ..thank you.
Updated UX coming real soon and lots of new things ... never stop trying to be better.
What is also interesting is that @taostats is now powered by @blockmachine_io ... a Bittensor subnet (19) serving all the chain data we need to power the site and API.
English

Most $TAO holders are flying blind.
They bought the token.
They watched the price.
They read the threads.
But they have never opened the one tool that shows them everything happening inside the Bittensor network in real time.
It is called Taostats.
It is free.
And after reading this, you will never look at $TAO the same way again.
Here is exactly how to use it.
Step 1: Start at the Subnets page.
This is the heartbeat of the entire network. Every subnet running on Bittensor is listed here with:
- its current emission rate
- the number of active miners and validators
- real-time performance data
The emission rate is the most important number on this page. It tells you exactly how much TAO is flowing into each subnet every block.
High emission means the network is directing significant resources toward that subnet's commodity. Low emission means the market has not yet recognised its value, or the subnet has not yet proven itself.
Watch which subnets are gaining emission share over time. That movement tells you where the network believes the most valuable work is being done, before any headline announces it.
Step 2: Use the Subnet pages to go deeper.
Click any subnet, and you enter a complete dashboard for that individual market.
- The TradingView chart shows you the alpha token price history for that subnet. Alpha tokens are the subnet-specific tokens that sit inside TAO's broader economy. Their price relative to TAO tells you how the market is valuing that subnet's specific commodity.
- The Metagraph is the full list of every miner and validator currently active in the subnet: their UID, their stake, their trust score, their emission share. This is the raw intelligence layer. The miners consistently earning the most emissions are producing the work the validators collectively agree is the most valuable.
- The Sentiment Index gives you a real-time community temperature reading on each subnet. Not price sentiment. Ecosystem sentiment. Whether the participants building inside the subnet believe it is healthy and improving.
Step 3: Check Validators before you stake anything.
This is the step most people skip and regret.
The Validators page on Taostats shows you the performance history of every validator on the network: their VTrust score, their emission consistency, and their weight-setting behaviour across subnets.
VTrust is the metric that matters most. It measures how closely a validator's judgments align with the honest stake-weighted majority across the network. High VTrust means the validator is doing genuine work and being rewarded for it. Low VTrust means the validator is either lazy, copying other validators' weights, or attempting to manipulate the system.
When you delegate your TAO to a validator, you are trusting them with your emissions. Taostats shows you exactly which validators have earned that trust over time, and which ones have not.
Never stake blind again.
Step 4: Use the Blockchain explorer to track real movement.
The Blockchain section of Taostats logs every transfer, every staking transaction, and every extrinsic called on the Bittensor chain in real time.
This is where you track what wallets are actually doing:
- Large staking transactions from unknown addresses
- Subnet registration events that signal a new market is about to go live
- Neuron registration burns that show demand for participation in a specific subnet is accelerating
The people who read on-chain data before the narrative catches up to it are the ones who position correctly before the crowd notices the move.
Step 5: Track your own portfolio inside the Dashboard.
Connect your coldkey address, and Taostats builds you a complete portfolio view:
- Your TAO balance
- Your staking positions
- Your delegation returns
- Your yield over time
The yield calculator is particularly useful. It shows you the actual return you are generating from your staking position in real TAO terms, not in percentage estimates that assume conditions that may not hold.
If your yield is lower than the network average for your validator tier, Taostats shows you that too. Switching validators takes one transaction. The data to make that decision intelligently is right in front of you.
The bigger picture.
Most people holding $TAO are making decisions based on price charts and social media sentiment. Both of those inputs are downstream of what is actually happening inside the network.
Subnet emission shifts.
Validator VTrust changes.
On-chain registration events.
Neuron burn rates.
Alpha token price movements relative to TAO.
All of it is live on Taostats right now. All of it is free. All of it tells you something the price chart cannot.
The investors who understand Bittensor at the data layer will always be positioned ahead of the investors who understand it at the narrative layer.
Taostats is the data layer.
Bookmark it. Open it daily. The network is telling you exactly what it is doing if you know where to look.

@2xnmore Be nice to have an official link so as to avoid scam sites.
Anyone can advertise on search engine sites. One click and you are looking at a wallet drainer.
English

@evanluza @2xnmore @subnetatlas @taostats THIS is what i love to see ... people who think Taostats is great but doesn't quite show the data the way they want ...so they build something that works they way they want .... using the @taostats API. That is what we designed it for ❤️
English

@2xnmore why I decided to build @subnetatlas as well was to have more visibility and data visualization and metrics around all of the TAO ecosystem and subnets
the ecosystem is lot - especially for for newly interested minds. Of course leveraging @taostats API as well 🫡
English

@durov Average of 35% if you are nicely deployed into subnets on $tao ... only around 8% if you hold native ..so not sure on the accuracy of your data. Source ?

TON is #1 in annual staking rewards among the 50 largest cryptocurrencies.
That’s on top of the coin’s price growth, which doubled this week.

English

@DrocksAlex2 If you keep staring hard enough at it, you can see the exact price of $tao in 1 year from today.
English

@mogmachine agreed. do u agree that cropping this part of the image looks like their usual mysterious designs though? that's why i immediately thought u were hinting at some partnership

@givemethedtao @proofoftalk @hippius_subnet Amazing answer, thank you ... can i steal the @hippius_subnet quote as a testimonial?
I remember you paying attention at Breakout in SF 👊

Running agents on Bittensor here too. My current stack is lean but effective:
• Hippius (SN75) @hippius_subnet — absolute lifesaver for the data side. Built a heavy research engine that ingests a ton of market/order-flow data. Their decentralized storage is private, stupidly cheap (~$3/mo), and just works
• Chutes (SN64) @chutes_ai —Serverless compute for inference and execution on top of that research data.
Where I want agents next:
• Still heavily using the above for core research → execution loop.
• Eyeing a few market-intelligence subnets for even deeper real-time signals; example: @mvtrx_79
English

Working on my keynote and workshop for @proofoftalk in Paris.
If you're running agents on top of bittensor, which subnets are actually in your stack? and what are you using them for?
$TAO #Bittensor

English

@AuralAbuse @leomercier If the idea is strong enough and the team convey the ability to execute there are funds and providers queuing up to support ... DSV, Yuma, and a number of other entities spring to mind.
English

@leomercier I really like this idea. @mogmachine do you think this is something that could be discussed today?
English

Bittensor has great builders but needs more. The wall: ~500 bittensor:native ($150k) to register a subnet, and even more to run. This is a wall to innovation.
Proposal: a Bittensor venture fund, funded from subnet emissions.
a % of a subnets emissions routes into a pooled foundation fund (optional by owners). Distributed as grants to founders building on Bittensor. Grants can never be sold - only consumed for subnet services, or used to register a new subnet (burnt dTAO and TAO removed from pool).
Think AWS Activate, not YC cash. Infrastructure credits, locked to ecosystem utility by construction.
The grant ladder:
Start: consume alpha as infra to build your product on existing subnets
Prove it: keep building, keep burning registration costs for miners and validators
Graduate: burn pooled TAO to register your own subnet, or deploy it into an existing subnet's pool to take an alpha position
Founders move from tenant to owner without ever touching liquid TAO. The 500 TAO setup wall becomes a milestone, not a barrier.
Why this works where other grant programs fail: no sell pressure. Grantees can't dump. Every grant either creates value, burns supply, or locks into subnet liquidity.
Why the network opts in:
More builders = more demand for subnet services
Registration paths are pure burns — supply tightens
Pool paths lock TAO into ecosystem liquidity
Founders become long-term aligned operators, not mercenaries
Emissions already exist — this redirects a slice toward creation
Closed loop. Network emits → foundation grants → founder builds → founder consumes, burns, or locks into pools → supply tightens or liquidity deepens. Everyone aligned.
Most of what an AI/agent business needs is already on Bittensor. We don't need to redistribute TAO subnets through perfect democracy and control. We need firm visionary founders and supportive capital. Role of investor is invest. Role of founder is create value and return it.
TAO doesn't grow by splitting itself more fairly. It grows by making more of itself worth holding.

@SteveBA54 @dougsillars @taostats We hoped our next huge update would be done by 1st June ..but we are not sure it will make it and won't rush something unfinished ... but not long after.

My favorite thing in the @taostats wallet is a little thing - the ability to hide your balances.
So easy to share screenshots!

@sneworoverteel @hippius_subnet @opentensor Nothing except traction and adoption ..and of course making sure the stack is bullet proof.
If you use AWS S3 for anything in your workflow you should consider using @hippius_subnet ..it is a quick swap and a huge saving.
English

@mogmachine @hippius_subnet @opentensor No.
When I see $8000 difference I want to know why a thing like that isn’t mainstream yet and if anything what holds it back from being it.
English

@selrach2035 @proofoftalk Nice to hear, ..but are you using Bittensor subnets for any of the running of your agents and their abilities, like storage, compute, inference, scraping etc.
