@sassiterian I saw her double stack cookies a few times at church on Sunday. I wasn’t gonna tell on her because I assumed being part Dutch, she didn’t get to eat sweets much. So I was like “get your cookies kid”, but the timing of this is just too perfect to keep quiet.

I think the OG trilogy as a whole was great. I would say all three have carried the franchise with notable contributions from a couple stand alone and tv series. The others are tolerable and some okay, but as a generality as I’ve grown older, the series isn’t as good as I remember

"A New Hope" and "Empire Strikes Back" were so outstandingly good, they've carried the entire franchise. It hasn't been good since the "Leia is my sister" reveal. Also, "Star Wars" never had a clear direction. The sequel trilogy just continued the tradition.

It is a tough question for me, but over the years I’ve developed friends from playing video games online and am part of these communities. Over the last few years the ideas of online churches have completely usurped gathering in person with a congregation on Sundays for a lot of people. And a lot of people see no issue with it.

Which is a worse situation?

There is nothing in Scripture that describes a “remote elder.” You can’t be a shepherd if you do not live with your flock.

@Pastor_Gabe As someone who has driven for a living, it is just best to wait it out. I’ve seen more close calls from someone taking a free right than experienced having to wait for someone to take it.

I got behind someone today who wouldn't turn right on red—at a very long light. And it's not like he couldn't have gone—no one came from the other direction the whole time. It was annoying, but I just waited. What do you do in such a situation? Do you honk, or wait it out?
