@clashreport JD Vance is allegedly an ex-Marine.
If he can’t tell the difference between a country being invaded and a country defending its sovereignty, he can’t have been a very good one.
Though let’s be honest, I think he understands perfectly well.

@joelbasson I'm an Irish living in the UK. Brexit was the stupidest thing ever.
English

@DanielJHannan Because GB News is nothing but a propaganda machine subsidised by wealthy far right anti-democratic populists.
English

No one has to fund GB News. It relies on advertising, subscriptions and the confidence of its proprietors that it will become profitable.
The BBC, by contrast, is treated by the LibDems as their channel, but all of us have to pay for it.
Stop pretending not to see the difference.
Liberal Democrats@LibDems
Nigel Farage has been paid £330,000 by GB News in the last year alone. He's deep in the pockets of a company that aims to replace the BBC.

@roberts719424 @ChrisJBakke I'm going to single out his DOGE contribution, it seems the only thing you can say was "unselfish". Where he saved the US government literally some dollars by stopping cheap vital medications for children in the third world. Hundreds of thousands died, but 10s of dollars saved.

When I reported to Elon, we would have X product meetings at 5 or 6pm (because he was with the Tesla team for 10 hours before that), then my 1:1 checkin would be at 10pm, but that would regularly get moved to 11pm or midnight or 1am.
Usually around 2am, he’d go take a nap for a couple hours in the office and then repeat the same schedule again the next day with a different set of companies, 7 days a week.

@Telegraph If the intent is to sever the connective chain of command tissue between NATO / SACEUR and America's extended nuclear deterrence over Western Europe then this would help do it.
English

@Telegraph Why would any self-respecting leader of the U.S. want to lose influence voluntarily like this
English

🇩🇪 Germany should take over the historically American role of Nato Europe commander, Donald Trump’s envoy to the Western alliance has suggested.

@Telegraph Excellent idea, Germany has an unfinished chess game with Russia.
Only now Russia is Nazi...
English

@MTM35276486 @Telegraph This is nothing to do with Germany, simply that the US is planning on removing its European nuclear umbrella and its European troops.
English

@Telegraph Nazi Germany: Hitler had the plan to conquer and control all European and Eastern States.
Now the USA and other European States asks us to take control, without a single fight.

English

@Telegraph I wish Iceland would leave NATO, EES and ESB and cut all ties with with UN and EU.
Only do one sided country deals is the way.
English

@joelbasson @LozzieDuff @Telegraph I suppose it's like wishing NL was owned by Germany again because they keep trying to make Pim Fortuyn as their leader.
English

@Telegraph If that happens, the UK must leave Nato, withdraw from continental Europe, and pact with the US in a way that is virtually the 51st state (or even the actual 51st state).

@grok @Karlaus138248 @AuschwitzMuseum @X Zero transparency, zero complaints procedures, zero fact finding, zero regulatory oversight. Nothing but a billionaire's propaganda machine.
English

We remind @grok that denying the Holocaust violates the regulations of @X.
SS documents, survivor and witness testimonies, as well as photographs taken by the resistance, provide unequivocal evidence that these were gas chambers where people were murdered en masse with Zyklon B.
Preserved sources confirm the existence of ventilation systems used to remove hydrogen cyanide, which allowed for the rapid airing of the chambers after the mass killing of people had been carried out.

Denial of the existence of gas chambers is a disgraceful assault on the memory of all those people: Jews, Poles, Roma, Soviet prisoners of war, and all other victims. It is also a slap in the face to those prisoners who risked their lives to document and convey the truth about German crimes, as well as to the Survivors who still bear the trauma of their personal experiences.

RUSSIAN DOOMING!!!!!
Today there will be a bit of news about the 1st Tank Army. They are currently in the Kupyansk direction, and things are going roughly as usual for us there.
Let's start with the "staffing of the assault units." About a hundred people were taken from the 112th brigade, and eighty of them immediately said: no, thanks, go yourselves. They were all sent to the guardhouse, just like in the good old days. Classic.
At the Tabayevka and Novoosinovoye section, the 3rd battalion of the 1432nd regiment is being prepared for deployment. The fighters themselves, including the 7th company, write the same thing: the road is so under fire that you can't even take a step there. There's no talk of a proper breakthrough, losses are increasing, the regiment's MPS has dropped below the floor, and the number of refusals is growing. So, 112th, don't worry - you are far from alone.
The numbers are funny too. In Kupyansk, we hold a maximum of 150-200 people at the same time, but since the end of September, we have already lost more than 300.
The 26th regiment of the 47th division, which is stationed in Glushkovka, is staffed a little more than half. The entire living force is less than two hundred people, and barely a hundred on the line.
And almost "sacred" now - movement along the pipelines. The 15th regiment of the 2nd division in the Lozovskaya and Borovskaya Andreevka area is driving people along the Novopskov - Shebelinka gas pipeline. The Ukrainians see this and meet them.
This once again shows that the roads are in bad shape. If the enemy completely closes the corridor, movement will stop, and we will remain sitting in the trenches while those above ask where the offensive is.
In general - now we are trying to create the appearance of pressure, but there are no people, no normal routes either, enemy fire control is still there, and morale is falling faster than reinforcements can arrive. So don't expect any "deep incursions." There will be local pokes for the report, and that's it.
