so many incredible musicians, touring crew, producers, sound + lighting people, promoters, venue staff and countless others are probably going to leave the music industry forever, and as always, it’s all the tories fault

...the reality is, looking ahead to October, there are going to be many more like her. This is a bigger pandemic than Covid. These parents aren’t sleeping counting down the days to Oct half term, Xmas holidays...these parents, their children, NEED our help!

I sat and listened whilst a mum of 3 who has worked her entire life sobbed her heart out to me today. She has lost her job during Covid and has no idea how she’s going to feed her children. She might not feel she has a voice but I do. This is unacceptable in 2020...

sad news for manchester this. playing deaf institute back in the day was great. solidarity with all the staff & independent music promoters affected here and everywhere. future does not look great for live music does it.

MAN has always been so supportive to us over the years. Memories of great shows at both these institutions.
