@meowkoteeq The law has changed since July 2024. There are no temporary contracts, except in some specific cases. If the landlord didn't inform you at least 1 calendar month the contract becomes permanent. You can also lower your rent based on the new point system.

landlords here in NL can offer you either a permanent rental contract, or a temporary contract for up to 2 years. there is no loophole where a 2 year contract expires and they can make a new temporary one with you. that would automatically mean you are on permanent terms. so what do you do as a landlord if you wanna rent your house out for, say, 5 years and then have it back? yeah, you do 2 years, then you have to kick these people out and find someone else, then repeat that again. even if you are chill with the first tenants and would gladly have them rent your house for 5 years

@Andric1961 I will do a critique from the technical standpoing. One of the problems with koha.net and other so-called portals (note, KOHA is not 'so-called'), is that they are riddled with tracking scripts that often make the reading experience a torture.
