@KingTargaryenn La version extendida es muy buena, pero la pelicula fracaso porque Orlando Bloom es una planta lamentablemente.

La versión de cine de ‘El Reino de los Cielos’ (2005) recortó unos 45 minutos para ajustarse al formato comercial, lo que hizo que la película fuese un fracaso en taquilla y crítica. Años después, Ridley Scott recuperó el metraje y lanzó su Director's Cut (194 minutos), mucho más coherente, profunda y ambiciosa, con personajes mejor desarrollados y subtramas clave que dan sentido completo a la historia. Hoy se considera la única versión que refleja la verdadera visión del director y ha convertido un fracaso en una obra muy valorada. Un ejemplo clásico de cómo los recortes comerciales pueden arruinar una película… y cómo restaurarla la rescata.

@antigua_roma Está entre los grandes directores, pero la historia y los personajes de Gladiator I fueron más fruto de un trabajo en equipo. Sin los aportes clave de Crowe, Nielsen y otros en el guion y decisiones, probablemente habría terminado como la II. Creo que hubo algo de azar ahí.
