. @AnkenyHawksGolf shoots a 277 to defeat Valley and Dowling in a triangular meet at Willow Creek. I believe that is the lowest score ever shot by Ankeny on any course. @drew_hensen fires a 66 to earn medalist honors for the 5th time in 6 meets. Adams shoots a 68 and Beelner 69.

. @AnkenyHawksGolf shoots a 301 in a triangular meet at Beaver Creek. The Hawks fall to Johnston (298) but beat Urbandale (369). @drew_hensen shoots a 2-under-par 70 to earn medalist honors.

. @AnkenyHawksGolf placed 2nd in the Jesse Peck Invite on Monday at Briarwood behind medalist @drew_hensen, who shot a 1-over-par 73. @ACHSBoysGolf finished 5th but was just 3 strokes behind Ankeny. We'll have a story this afternoon.

Congrats to Drew on his first place finish today at the Centennial Invite. Team shot 314 to finish second. Great way to start the season men!

Summer golf tournaments have come to an end. Proud of my achievements which include: 3 top 10 AJGA tournament finishes including a top 5 finish earning full exemption status and a 2nd place finish in the Iowa Junior Amateur. Looking forward to a final AHS season with my boys.

This summer has been a grind. Happy to finish inside the top five this week at the Austin Minnesota Junior Championship to earn my fully exempt status on AJGA.
