when a prospect goes silent, most salespeople assume they just got busy rarely true the real reason is one of three things 1 - they don't have the authority to move forward and don't want to admit it 2 - the problem you solve isn't that important 3 - they were never serious in the first place you need to qualify harder upfront you should only be talking to people with the authority, urgency, and budget to actually do something
