Good. Good. Just so remarkable that our field depends on countries w public health systems to answer these sorts of questions. Too much of US research is industry based which only gets done when there are confluences of interests b/w profit and pt care

Many sites are recruiting brilliantly — thank you. But recruitment nationally needs a final big push. If every centre recruits just one NICM patient per month, we will get back on target!

Metanalysis of ~30k patients.(JAMA 2024;332:1535) LGE presence predicts outcomes in NICM, Not LVEF. The BRITISH trial continues and is at ~450 NICM patients randomised to ICD or NO ICD. Is scar the best biomarker to threshold risk for ICD implantation? We will find out!
