As most of you know I have Crohn’s disease and I’m 3 years in remission for colon cancer. I take my annual pilgrimage to Stanford Hospital to one of the best GI docs in the country for my colonoscopy. I do this post every year not for pity, but for people to realize that so many of us deal with illness, loss, sadness, but we’ve gotten very good at not letting anybody see that pain. Be compassionate to one another, you never know when you might need a hand to hold you up or someone to just be there and listen! #crohnsdisease #ibd #ibdwarrior
