Sorry Blue Jays fans! Didn't mean to bring up a sore subject! But it did get me thinking about how this season relates to prior seasons. Here is a chart that compares projected WARP lost through the first 25 days of the last 6 seasons. I have highlighted the AL East.

@rock_beats_papr It's an odd quirk. Probably better to say that multiple players were projected to be below replacement level and that losing those players to the IL isn't as punitive to the White Sox as it is to teams with higher projected players.

If 2021 was the year of the hamstring, then 2025 is the year of the oblique. Hoping to have a piece up next week at @baseballpro digging further into it, but the obliques have been a #problem this season.

Dylan Crews goes on the 10-day IL with a left oblique strain, with Robert Hassell III called up from AAA. Hassell said he drove straight here last night after getting the news from Rochester manager Matt LeCroy. Suffice it to say, he’s excited.
