Fungi. I think my new chart is finished. I've loved creating the autumn scene and populating it. The Jays in the woods up the hill are in a foraging frenzy- their Welsh name is 'Sgrech Y Coed'- screech of the woods which is a perfect title. X

Our illustrated Full Moons for 2025. These full moon names come from Old English Almanacs, Celtic traditions and Native American Tribes along with some more modern sources and they all capture and perfectly reflect the natural world and its changing months and seasons.

British Moths The research for this new chart has taught me a lot - I didn't know that Moths flew in the sunshine, or how they're different from Butterflies or how very big some of the nocturnal moths are! I've painted them roughly to scale and thoroughly enjoyed the mission. X

Lizzie found this shell in her shorts pocket and remembered picking it up on a deserted beach near Arisaig on the West Coast of Scotland last September....so she took herself back up there in this painting. We love it! X #artist #painting #lanscape #welsh #beachday #scotland
