My highlights from second half of the season in 🇬🇮 25/26

Another exciting player from FC Luxembourg City is Alioune Diop, who arrived from city rivals Racing Luxembourg. Last season, he made 11 brief appearances in the top flight but was unable to fully establish himself as a regular starter.
Now playing in the second division, he has taken a clear step forward and looks much more confident and influential. With 12 goals and 17 assists, he has been directly involved in a huge share of his team’s attacking output and has made a strong case for himself ahead of the summer transfer window.
His performances suggest a player who is ready for the next step, and it would not be surprising to see him appear on the radar of other clubs looking for an attacking boost.

Kian Ramadani has earned his move to SV Waldhof Mannheim after a series of strong performances. A quick, dynamic attacker, he combines physical strength, game intelligence, and a highly efficient finishing ability.
Developed in the academy of 1. FC Kaiserslautern, he has also represented Albania at youth international level. This step could prove important in his bid to earn a return to the national setup at U18 and U21 level.
Very curious to see how he will do in Mannheim!

🇦🇱 Erald Maksuti’s highlights from this season summarised in a short video.
The 21-year-old represents a fantastic opportunity for clubs abroad. Standing at 1.90 metres tall, he is physically strong, fast, a clinical finisher, technically gifted and a monster in the air. He can play on the left wing as well as in the centre of attack. He is a player I can see representing the Albanian national team in the medium term.

Louis Mendy, the 24-year-old striker currently playing for FC Luxembourg City, is undoubtedly a name that will appear on the wishlist of several Luxembourgish clubs.
When he first arrived in Luxembourg, he started out in the fourth tier before joining Luxembourg City. After spending one season in the third division and now two strong campaigns in the second division, he has clearly shown that he has practically outgrown the level. With 24 goals and 11 assists, he has been a key attacking force and made a strong case for the summer window. His output clearly shows he is ready for first division level.
With his physical presence, eye for goal, and consistent performances, Mendy looks ready to make the step up and test himself at a higher level in Luxembourgish football.

Hetemaj played a total of 108 matches under Maran during his time at Chievo Verona.
It would be great if Hetemaj, who is now working as a youth coach at Helsinki, could take on a role as Maran’s assistant manager.

VfB Stuttgart’s academy continues to produce some very interesting young talents with Albanian roots, and two names worth keeping an eye on are Enis Redzepi and Almand Idrizi.
Definitely two prospects worth following closely in the coming seasons — especially in a Stuttgart system that increasingly trusts its youth.

Arianit Hasani (22/CM/🇽🇰) is a technically gifted and intelligent attacking midfielder who feels most comfortable operating between the lines (4 Goals & 5 Assists). Agile, energetic, and confident on the ball, he brings creativity and intelligent movement in possession-based systems. While he may lack elite physicality or explosiveness, he has the qualities to become a very solid player at Kosovo Superliga level. He is definitely a player that several Kosovar clubs will keep an eye on, and he could potentially make the step toward a respectable mid-level league abroad in the future.

The Women’s team of VfB Stuttgart has secured promotion to the Bundesliga, and right at the heart of it all is Dafina Redzepi. She’s set to return to top-flight football — and honestly, it feels like exactly where she belongs.
What makes her story even more impressive is the resilience behind it: after two ACL injuries, she fought her way back, earned a key role in the team, and played a decisive part in their promotion push.
She found her rhythm again at VfB Stuttgart. Now, after extending her contract until 2028, she heads into the Frauen-Bundesliga at just 21 years old, full of momentum and belief.
What a journey, what a player — and if she stays fit, this could just be the beginning.

🚨Excl | VfL Bochum are pushing to sign Faton Ademi. Concrete talks have already taken place, and he has already been spotted at the stadium in Bochum.
