As a Dad of three strong girls, I look forward to seeing them succeed and flourish, and applaud those women who have paved a way for them. This fight is far from over, and I know the next generation is poised to continue this important work.

On International Women's Day it is important to recognize all the pioneering women who have struggled, fought, and battled to provide for equality, liberation, and rights for women worldwide.

Come on out tonight and support the Lady Wamps as they take on the Shamrocks in an Elite 8 matchup at Bishop Feehan Game time is 5:00 PM but get there early and secure a seat to cheer these awesome athletes on!

Congrats to the Braintree High Girls Dance Team for placing first at the State Championships yesterday in both Pom and Jazz! Great job ladies! On to the New England's!

As National Girls and Women in Sports Day comes to a close, I wanted to shout out all the strong young ladies I am lucky enough to coach or to have coached. Sport is so important for the development and future success of young ladies.

Mother Nature has reappeared after a few years to let us know she still packs a punch! Staying off the roads allows crews to get their work so stay in, make some French Toast with all that milk and bread, and watch Drake Maye and the Pats bust some Broncos!

A touch belated on the post, but thank you to all my friends, family, and residents who supported my last fall for my campaign for Councilor-at-Large. Last Friday, I was honored to be sworn into office and look forward to working to make Braintree better and stronger.

GIRLS BASKETBALL 🏀 Braintree - 73 Weymouth - 27 Izzy Rotondo and Eva Downing led the team with 14 points each. Kate Sweeney added 12 points.

Congrats to the Lady Wamps opening up the season with a big win over Weymouth! This season should be a fun one to watch! Next up these Wamps take on Needham on Thursday, Dec 18 at Braintree High.
