When coaching hitters, identifying their main weaknesses is the most important part. Once the weaknesses are identified, figuring out the root cause is the hardest part and is where most hitting coaches fail. If you never get to the root cause of their weakness, it is almost impossible to help them improve. If you figure out what causes their problems, you can map out a detailed plan that attacks the cause of the problem and actually helps them improve. 👉🏼Simple… but rarely focused on. #BaseballTruth

FAFSA opens October 1. File it junior year even if you think you make too much money. Coaches at need-based schools cannot talk real numbers with your family until it is in, and some merit aid at private schools requires it on file. It is free and takes an hour. Waiting until senior spring costs families real money every year.

McCann had 0 home runs of inside sinker/off the plate in his Career. Yamamoto had given up only 1 home run off an inside sinker to a right-handed batter in his Career.
