#MedTwitter Any IM programs with unfilled spots interested in taking a military trans resident about to lose their job?

#MedTwitter I'm once again asking for the best IM residency programs for transgender docs getting banned from the military.

@fawfulfan This is not true. All embryos start off as indeterminate, and therefore non-binary. People really need to stop with the myth that everyone starts off as female.

Under Trump's executive order, every single person in America is now legally classified as female. All embryos begin by developing female sex organs, with male sex organs only replacing them at around 6 weeks of gestation.

Anyone have recommendations for good civilian IM residencies for a trans person who may be displaced by another trans ban?

You cannot simultaneously say that "distress is not a reason for body modification" and also support breast reduction, low T clinics, hair transplants, etc. If you use this argument only against trans people, that's bigotry, not medicine.

@Karen21001230 1 look at my comments section debunks this point. There are absolutely people saying this. I made this post after a lengthy discussion where someone argued that gender affirming body modification even for consenting adults is wrong.

@drkidneybeans I don't think anyone is saying that adults shouldn't alter their bodies medically/surgically if they can access it & it helps them. However nothing changes one's sex. 'Trans people' are people pretending to be the opposite sex. We don't have to support their delusion

You comment as if this were an own, however there are many babies whose heads don't pass through women's pelvises. If pelvis size defined gender, you arbitrarily decide that women are no longer women.
