I use it as shot gun therapy of just four hours a day for four to five days. Perfectly safe.

I would assume the risk to be similar with HD catheters as well. What does the data suggest? It would be interesting to know.

Within a span of weeks I lost two cardiologists that I know very well. Both are very friendly and humble beyond belief. Irony is that they both died of the disease that they treated very well: the #HeartAttack. Both did not get a preventive check up done. Neither had any physical or psychological stress. Neither was overweight. While we sit and debate why the cardiac arrests are rising and whether Covid or vaccines have got anything to do with these family-busters, we should do our bit not to fall prey to one ourselves. I suggest, everyone beyond 40 years, (and earlier if there are symptoms or risk factors) get an ECHO, TMT, Fasting Lipid Profile, Sugar and BP check done, at least once a year. If there are symptoms, risk factors and abnormalities in non-invasive testing, we can get a CT angio or a regular angio done. Just imagine your obituary being written by somebody else (I am imaging mine now), and that should propel you to get a simple non-invasive testing done today. Left: Dr. Padmakumar, Medicover.
