HIVE MIND: I am redesigning a 2nd year UG Women, Crime and Justice module. Thinking of doing 15(ish) lectures on specific topics pertaining to women, crime and justice instead of the usual approach. So far the list includes - in no order: Offending Policing Sentencing Prisons Community punishments Violence Victimisation Sexual Violence Prostitution/Sex Industry Criminological theories (including feminist) Penal policy and politics Girls and youth justice What am I missing? What would you like to know about if you were a 2nd year student of mine?

An Announcement: "All Good Things..." 🧵 Margaret and I came out of retirement back at the very start of 2022. At that time, schools were struggling with staff shortages and the then Education Secretary launched a campaign to encourage retired teachers back into classrooms. 1/

I’m very proud that the sustained impact of my educational leadership has been recognised through gaining PFHEA. It’s been such a positive experience and I have had wonderful support from colleagues, everyone I work with has taught me something for which I’m thankful.
