The @AMOF_Science crew completed our new radar installation before the snow arrived - well done team! The radar is mounted on a shipping container so it can be moved more easily for fieldwork, and the radome cover provides protection from the weather 🌨️

This week our @AMOF_Science team is installing the new @AtmosScience X-band radar at the Chilbolton Atmospheric Observatory. Our specialised weather radar will help researchers to study clouds and precipitation - and collect evidence on how our weather and climate are changing.

We've had a special delivery at our Chilbolton Observatory this week. But, what's inside? We'll reveal all next week, when we unbox this new @AMOF_Science instrument.

@MartinSLewis I'm out of contract with talktalk as of today. Should I continue with a rolling month contract and sign up for a new deal (talktalk or elsewhere) after the 1st April rather than sign up now and be hit with the price increases on 1st April?

Sad news. Peregrine TJS, who was rescued from the nets after fledging from the Parkie Tower this summer has been found dead in Boroughbridge. First year survival rates are low so discoveries like this have to be expected. But 🥹. @UoLperegrine @UoL_Sus
