@voxscientisti @theliverdoc Read about “ idiosyncratic toxicity”. Arsenic (found in himalaya ) has idiosyncratic toxicity. In other words, your argument is like “I smoked 20 years ago and did not get cancer. So smoking does not cause cancer”:)
English

@theliverdoc @drlibinabraham Just below highlighted region is written no adverse effects was attributable to the drugs. 6 months is long time for adverse effects to manifest. If it has not shown beneficial effects, it has not shown any adverse effects also. Selective acceptance is not good science.

@RajeevJayadevan @shinsmon Ever considered the rise of immune escape variants, rather than assuming unvaccinated have natural protection over time? In other words,, the tall one losing a part of his leg and becoming shorter, rather than building “imaginary heels” only to shorter person? :)
English

@drlibinabraham @shinsmon You could believe anything you choose to believe. There is no need of a modelling study to “prove” that a group of unvaccinated people followed over several months will acquire a degree of immunity due to natural infection, and therefore will trend closer to the vaccinated group.
English

Be careful while reading conclusions like “waning vaccine effectiveness at 6 months”
❗️Always ask: How did they measure “effectiveness”?
Such studies compare 2 groups of people over time: vaccinated & unvaccinated.
There is a flaw I had described earlier. See thread.

Waning effectiveness of BNT162b2 and ChAdOx1 covid-19 vaccines over six months since second dose bmj.com/content/378/bm… @RajeevJayadevan @RPrasad12
English

@shinsmon @RajeevJayadevan Exactly! The heel analogy doesn’t make any sense to me. Authors found that “rates of covid-19 related hospital admission and death were substantially lower among vaccinated than unvaccinated adults”. This suggests that “heel” in unvax (natural immunity?) is not very useful :)
English

@RajeevJayadevan Also, how is it fair to assume that heels artificially increased height only in one group?
English

@RajeevJayadevan Mr. Jayadevan. True. But vast majority of uninfected (unvaccinated) also have pre-existing T cell cross protection from other common corona viruses that skew vaccine effectiveness (based on the same narrative you are proposing :) cell.com/cell/fulltext/…. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

@drlibinabraham Mr Abraham, most of COVID-19 is either asymptomatic, unnoticed or undocumented. Check my earlier tweets about studies that established this fact. Of course they did well to exclude the few who had been officially documented.

I know nothing about activated b-cells and actin, but @drlibinabraham and @MikeGoldVan sure as heck do. This is old data from June 2017 using @OlympusLifeSci FV3000 resonant scanner. Thanks to Libin for sample prep, great chats, and guidance on cool biology #microscopyTBT

@DanCoombsUBC Ha ha. that 1 was me :) i thought you need volunteers/controls for testing.

I still love watching this video. T cell getting activated on a stimulatory surface. Left: nuclear and cytoplasmic actin dynamics, right: calcium release.
