@jaybeans Having to straighten up for the robovac is kind of a feature, as far as I'm concerned, and the other thing is that robovacs don't suffer from executive function "dirt blindness" like I do.

The biggest flaw with the Roomba is you have to pick everything up off the floor and vacuum before you let it go. And then you have to be on standby for when it gets stuck. That's a lot of work for a supposed "set it and forget it" tool

@WereGeek I'm probably going to regret getting into a semantic argument on the internet, but POA doesn't always mean the principal is incapacitated; it simply means the designated agent can act on the prinicpal's behalf within the restrictions spelled out in the granting instrument.

@tjortenzi I absolutely think Feinstein should step down, but POA can be granted in many situations that don't imply legal incapacity or guardianship; you can't jump to the conclusion that her daughter's holding POA means anything about Feinstein's capacity without knowing its content.

@SparklingBlue For me social media is all about the social, and although a lot of my "moots" got accounts on Spoutable when it first started getting attention, it seems like most of them bounced pretty quickly and the snowball just never got rolling.
