Among the men who use domestic and family violence, manosphere (anti-feminist) and male supremacist attitudes are common, informed by online ‘men’s rights’ communities and ideologies. That’s what new research among frontline DV workers in Australia finds. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

Excited to share an article of mine published today, where I critique 'healthy masculinity' training and discourses with queer politics in mind, and consider what other political opportunities feminism can offer boys+ doi.org/10.1080/081646…

What makes for a good conference paper do you think? Apart from sticking to time, and some well timed jokes.

New resource about how LGBTQ+ people of migrant backgrounds have contributed to Sydney's queer history. Key message: contributions towards improving the lives of migrants and challenging racism in queer spaces ARE contributions to queer history. researchdirect.westernsydney.edu.au/islandora/obje…

In this article, @ChrisAgius13 draws attention to the gender blind spot in C/PVE strategies by arguing that misogyny and masculinism go beyond ‘anti-women’ sentiment and align with the far-right’s valorisation of order, hierarchy and traditional values. tandfonline.com/eprint/KBYWSHY…

Alrighty, believe it or not there are 'complex yes' voters too. In the end it's only two choices, yes or no. And both of these choices will mean more work after the voting. I'm voting yes, because I'd rather give it a go and then agitate and work on it AND hold it to account.
