Obi negotiated well for the Southeast. Win or lose in 2027, in 2031, power will go to the North and the North, south east and OBIDIENTS will back Kwankwaso. After Kwankwaso wins and serves eight years with an Igbo VP, power moves back to the South, particularly the South East.

Nigeria will be OK.

PDP had the opportunity in 2022 and squandered it. ADC had the same opportunity in 2026 and lost it. They didn’t learn anything from PDP. But I think it is a blessing in disguise. You can’t put new wine in old wineskins. To a new party next!

People fail to see that Peter Obi represents not a political party but hope for many Nigerians who are tired of the established order. They see him as someone who can usher in the needed change. You can’t change an old order with the same politician cut from the same cloth. To defeat an incumbent, you need an unconventional politician which Peter Obi is. No wonder his name is on every political party whether APC, PDP or ADC. PDP missed the wave in 2022 to give him the ticket and today the party is dead. ADC will experience the same death because wherever he goes, his people will go.

A coalition not united by a common passion to rescue Nigeria and present be best possible and obvious candidate is not a coalition.

Businesses are struggling. Nigerians are hungry. Many are confused and even depressed. And the future does not look promising under the current administration. Nigeria needs you at this point. HOW DID WE GET HERE? This is not to apportion blame, but today is the symptom of a mistake made in 2015. In 2014, you believed it was the turn of the North that you left PDP and championed APC as the vehicle of change. That one decision is the major reason we are where we are today. Looking back, Nigeria might have fared better under the leadership of the PDP, as nearly every economic indicator has nosedived under the APC. THE OPPORTUNITY WE MISSED After APC’s disastrous eight years, it was time for the South to lead, based on the rotational principle adopted by most parties. You who championed the turn of the North refused to champion the turn of the South. Had you stepped aside and supported @PeterObi, who was your running mate in 2019, perhaps Nigeria’s trajectory would have been different. THE OPPORTUNITY BEFORE YOU Recall that in 2022, many Nigerian youths appealed to you to step down and endorse Peter Obi, but you chose to run under the PDP. Where is the party today? A similar outcome may occur in 2027 if you run under the ADC. While I do not claim to be a prophet of doom, but if you couldn’t win when you had many PDP Governors, I don’t see a clear path for victory for you in 2027. THE APPEAL Now, as we approach 2027, I ask: would you, for once, consider setting aside your ambition to help correct what many see as a mistake in ushering in the APC? For the sake of posterity, can you make this sacrifice for the good of the nation? Can you play the role of a kingmaker and help ensure we get it right in 2027 by supporting Peter Obi as the ADC candidate? You have a choice: you can rewrite your legacy and help put Nigeria on the right track by subordinating personal ambition to the greater good of the nation, or you can pursue the same ambition that contributed to the PDP’s decline in 2023. This may be your one opportunity to make a defining contribution to the nation’s future. I sincerely hope you will take it. When the history of Nigeria is written in the future, 2015, 2023 and 2027 would be defining landmarks. I hope you would be on the right side of history this time. Nigeria needs you to save her by endorsing, supporting, and championing Peter Obi’s candidacy. God bless you. I come in peace.
