No idea and no backbone. This is a man whose health adviser claimed at Reform’s Conference that the covid vaccine gave the Royal Family cancer. Anti-science, anti-reason, anti-NHS. Farage is the snake oil salesman of British politics and it’s time to stop buying his rubbish.
Lewis Goodall@lewis_goodall

Nigel Farage asked on @lbc whether he agreed with Donald Trump on the unproven supposed link between paracetamol and autism “I have no idea. I have no idea. We were told thalidomide was a very safe drug and it isn’t. who knows. I don’t know, you don’t know…when it comes to science I don’t side with anybody. It’s never settled. We should remember that.”

Reform UK is proposing a "Britannia card" that would let wealthy foreigners pay a £250k fee to move to the UK, and live here exempt from all tax on their foreign assets. What they don't say: it would cost the UK £34bn. Thread:

The BBC obtained a mobile phone that was smuggled out of North Korea. The level of control the regime holds over its citizens is shocking but not surprising.

This is going to be pointed out again and again for the next four years. And then, when lots of people vote for them anyway, it’s still going to somehow be everybody’s fault but theirs.
The Economist@TheEconomist

The Economist estimates that the annual costs of Reform UK’s manifesto would be around £200bn and savings around £100bn. The gap would amount to a colossal fiscal shock, blowing up the deficit and straining the gilt market to its limit econ.st/4jGgTfP
