But it’s just makes no sense. Attacking Canada? Targeting Greenland? As if we’d never need our friends again? Consider this Iran situation using the same strategy as Bush Sr. Built a big coalition, had specific, clear goals, went in, executed and got out. This is almost the polar opposite.

No one would disagree that they could not have nukes. But does this feel well-planned to you? Not militarily. . . strategically? No plan for Americans to get out, SPR not filled, no plan for the Strait, no means for fomenting regime change, munition issues, no plan for drones, no coalition, no prepping the American people. I could go on. . .it feels like they are making it up as they go. In the most unstable region in the world. And now a theocratic leader 30 years younger and even more hard line because we killed most of his family. Not ideal to say the least.

Sadly, we are in this thing now and there are really only two options. Leave now and declare victory. The problem is the regime is still there with a win because they survived. They have an even more hardline and younger leader, still have missiles, still have nuke material and can still sponsor terrorism and close the strait. A disaster for us. Option 2 is boots on the ground but this time alone. Its what they want and we have no stomach for that. In short, we are boxed in.
