@Aidan_Baron There is no aspiration without RGC. caveats being hidden RGC (hiatus hernia) or reaccumulation. That is a simple fact. If we take aspiration mitigation measures because we know or suspect there is RGC, then we are unlikely to see a difference. It might even be protective.

Do we need a video on an SGA (routinely) I was struck by the fact in a poster I was down to judge that there was no correlation between laryngeal view down an I-gel and position over the larynx What is our goal? Good ventilation or perfect positioning over the larynx? I post the question cos I don’t know the answer. But we should consider it before attaching a camera to everything just because we can. Next someone will say we need to store a video of the airway through every anaesthetic ..as our data centres burn the world up! I

I only do the right lateral view. Why should we bother doing the supine view if you still have to check your findings in right lateral or head up for those that can't roll?

last saturday i attended talentcorp program in london, it was lunch, and they served rice with some lauk meat n curry or something. So i was looking for a spoon 🥄 and couldnt find one. I asked my ex-medical school junior who attended the event as well n working long time in london about wheres the spoon. She said, people here dont use spoon to eat rice, i was like… 😨😨 TIL (on that day) some people actually eat rice using fork, like whattt??
