So refreshing to hear Dr Annie Hunninger talk about the difficulties of implementation in quality improvement. All residents can appreciate that. Useful summary of PSIRF methods @AnnieHunn

Lots of important take home messages for residents and trainers in Dr Barry Maguire’s talk on ethical advanced airway training. Particularly in making non-routine techniques safe for patients and anaesthetists in training

Very thought provoking talk from Dr Jane Sturgess in the aftermath of disasters in theatre, second victim syndrome and how we can support our colleagues. Lots of chat over coffee about this and how we can still improve

Could you help or be part of the DAS Committee? Are you a DAS member in good standing with a passion for airway management and an enthusiasm for the work done by DAS? There are vacancies on the DAS Committee for new faces. Please see addendum 1 of the constitution for an indicative list. #constitution" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">das.uk.com/about-das/#con… In addition to full committee membership, there are many roles that need sporadic input from talented individuals to get specific jobs done. As a charity - work done for DAS is voluntary, however DAS can cover the expenses in line with the agreed expenses policy. Please contact DAS@anaesthetists.org for an informal discussion
