@VativGG @orkamichael @drinkorka As a software engineer, simple answer would be a lack of research. You'd be surprised how many billions have been burned just to recreate something that already existed. However, if you want to create something you have full control of, it takes iterations and time

@KrisGfx @CS2P2Peer I have high hopes this could change in near future with the Steam machine, right now there is no norms for gaming on linux. Steam machine could be it, and developers could start making sure their games work on it, pressuring everyone else make their distro/hardware compatible

@KrisGfx @CS2P2Peer I am developer, dual boot for decade. Currently windows only due to company policy, and to be honest, WSL works pretty good for most of the time. Results might vary with compiled languages. That said, windows only is possible, linux only not so much

Hi this is a question to the Linux comunity. I want to move over completely to Linux but i am scared that my games won't work there So i want to ask you what linux distro would you recomend to be able to pay CS2 and LOL. Also hopefully no screen sharing issues like my friends have. And other issues that i should be aware of. I will put my PC specs down so we can check drivers and everything. @kwaxxi There is never going to be competetive pool that satisfies everyone. Not exactly sure when it turned out to be issue, given that CS used to be a game where you joined into a server that had the map & settings you preferred

I am saying this here and now... IF Cache replaces Overpass next week, I will quit CS forever / for at least a good while. Or until we get Vertigo or something back, I only enjoy playing Overpass and Nuke (meanwhile they won't get picked in Faceit / Prem anyways)

@ExerpasCS Flaw with this type of lists is that you only value the seen performance, every supportive measure is overlooked, definitely hard measure for CS but even the best mechanics lose against proper team input

After watchin every single S-Tier CS tournament this year, I've came to the conclusion that this is most precise Top 20 HLTV List on the internet. If you disagree, you didn't watch pro CS this year.
