@anandastrategy I'm fairly skeptical of the ability of US operators to successfully export into markets like Germany and Australia for commercial sale, especially for dried flower, even after these most recent schedule changes. But we'll see. Canadian cos have years of experience that MSO's dont
English

Rescheduling seems to mark the beginning of the US & Canada seeing one another as competitors in a global cannabis market.
Which should drive steady policy reform in both countries in the coming years, as each country seeks to increase its competitiveness in the global market.

Thanks for sharing. Canada currently has the 1st mover advantage in markets like Germany & $HITI is an important player. But there will be more competition from the Americans soon. Would be good to see the Canadian Trade Officials & Government pass meaningful reforms (credits, tax incentives etc) for Canadians companies to better compete with American peers.

@Mike53870421 @historyrock_ There's a big difference between taking inspiration from and stealing without credit.

@historyrock_ Idk why Led Zeppelin gets knocked for adapting music. My inspiration in art was Picasso. I think all bands look at inspiration to a point. Whole lotta love is phenomenal.

“Whole Lotta Love” is one of Led Zeppelin’s most iconic and powerful songs.
It is the opening track on their second album, Led Zeppelin II, released in October 1969.
The famous opening riff was created by Jimmy Page in the summer of 1968, while he was living on a houseboat on the River Thames in Pangbourne, England.
Jimmy Page played that three-note riff with an aggressive, heavy tone, and when he played it for the rest of the band during rehearsals, everyone knew it was special. The song was finalized during rehearsals and recorded primarily at Olympic Studios in London in April 1969.
The lyrics, sung with passion by Robert Plant, are full of desire and explicit sexuality. However, they draw heavily from Willie Dixon’s blues song “You Need Love,” recorded by Muddy Waters in 1962. Led Zeppelin adapted entire phrases without initially giving credit.
The song’s middle section is legendary: an experimental collage of sounds, moans, echo, percussion, and studio effects created by Jimmy Page and engineer Eddie Kramer. It is a psychedelic and “orgasmic” section that completely breaks with traditional structure and demonstrates how Led Zeppelin used the studio as another instrument.
It became a radio classic, a staple of the band’s concerts (with extended versions lasting up to 20 minutes), and one of the most recognizable and influential riffs in the entire history of rock.
