Yesterday, we launched Talk and Pay Microfinance Services, expanding the TAP super app into direct financial empowerment for Zimbabweans. I am deeply grateful to Hon. O. C. Z. Muchinguri-Kashiri, Minister of Defense and ZANU-PF Chairperson, who officiated the event as Guest of Honor and officially launched Talk and Pay Microfinance at Rainbow Towers Hotel. I also extend my sincere thanks to Harare Provincial Minister of State, Hon. Senator Charles Tavengwa, ICT Minister Hon. Tatenda Mavetera, my wonderful wife, the Prevail Board Members, and all distinguished guests who graced the occasion. As CEO of Prevail Group of Companies, I am pleased to announce that we will be providing interest-free loans for all Village Business Units across Zimbabwe. This initiative is inspired by the noble vision of President E. D. Mnangagwa, who emphasized that every village should have business units. In addition, our package includes collateral-based loans for SMEs and salary-based loans for civil servants, including members of the uniformed forces. For more information about this Talk and Pay micro finance services, I refer you to Prevail Group of Companies website #EmpoweredSociety #Talk& Pay #Prevailing

Yesterday in Marondera during the Presidential Borehole Drilling scheme official unveiling, citizens expressed a clear and compelling vision: their focus is on development, not elections. This sentiment reflects a growing recognition that sustainable progress is achieved through investment in infrastructure, services, and livelihoods rather than prolonged political contestation. Having lived in the United Arab Emirates, I have witnessed firsthand how a nation can achieve remarkable transformation by channeling its energy into development. The UAE has built world-class infrastructure, diversified its economy, and elevated the quality of life for its people — all with limited emphasis on electoral processes. Their model demonstrates that when governance is anchored in delivery and efficiency, citizens benefit directly. For Zimbabwe, the message from Marondera is instructive. Communities are calling for reliable water supply, modern infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities. These are the foundations of dignity and prosperity. Elections are important in any democracy, but they should not overshadow the urgent need for tangible progress. Policy must therefore prioritize development as the central pillar of governance. By focusing on service delivery, resource management, and inclusive growth, leadership can respond to the people’s call: progress before politics, development before elections. #CAB3Bhoo

I have seen with my own eyes how President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is working to unite Zimbabweans, regardless of political affiliation. His leadership has shown a deliberate effort to bring people together, and initiatives such as the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) are proof of his commitment to inclusivity. The Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme is another clear example. By ensuring that even opposition constituencies benefit from this program, the President has demonstrated that development is for everyone. Just yesterday in Marondera, members of the opposition CCC attended the borehole commissioning event. They applauded the progress being made, and CCC Mayor Councillor C. Murova himself praised President Mnangagwa’s development agenda. Vision 2030 is not for one party—it is for every Zimbabwean. Having travelled to many countries around the world, I have learned that unity is the defining factor for sustainable development. What I am witnessing here in Zimbabwe is a genuine effort to build that unity, and it gives me confidence that our nation is moving forward together. #CAB3

Today, I chose to gift a CCC councilor a new car, after he stood boldly in support of the development being championed by President E.D. Mnangagwa. Yet my heart was heavy when I heard the accusations that his home had been destroyed through political violence. I speak with conviction: President Mnangagwa does not walk the path of violence. He calls us to unity-unity in spirit, unity in purpose, unity in action. His message is one of peace and progress. And so, in that same spirit, I will rebuild the councilor’s house. Because when a home is torn down, we must raise it again. When division seeks to break us, we must answer with unity. And when fear tries to silence voices of hope, we must respond with courage and compassion. This is the Zimbabwe we believe in-where peace triumphs over conflict, and where unity builds what violence seeks to destroy.

Today marks an important milestone in our national journey toward universal access to clean and safe water. I officially opened the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme in Marondera on behalf of President E.D. Mnangagwa. We celebrate yet another demonstration of His Excellency, President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s unwavering commitment to improving the lives of all Zimbabweans. This initiative is part of the President’s broader vision to ensure that every community has reliable access to clean water, in line with Vision 2030, the priorities outlined in NDS1 and NDS2, and the global aspirations of the Sustainable Development Goals. While these boreholes provide immediate relief to our communities, they are also a temporary measure as Government advances long‑term, sustainable solutions to the urban water crisis through major projects such as Kunzvi Dam and other strategic water infrastructure developments across the country. I am particularly encouraged by the spirit of unity displayed here today. The presence of officials from across the political spectrum, including representatives from the CCC, among them the Mayor of Marondera-speaks volumes about the growing bipartisan cooperation among Zimbabweans. This is how nations are built: through shared purpose, mutual respect, and collective responsibility. More boreholes will be drilled across all provinces as we continue to operationalize the President’s mantra of “leaving no one and no place behind.” This is not just a slogan; it is a guiding principle that shapes every national programme under the Second Republic. As we stand only four days away from the first reading of CAB3 in Parliament, I encourage all Zimbabweans to continue supporting this historic piece of legislation. Many have noted that the number seven carries deep spiritual significance in the Bible, symbolizing completeness. In that same spirit, let us approach this moment with unity, purpose, and faith in the future we are building together. Thank you, Marondera, for your warmth and support. #CAB3

We are delighted to announce that the official opening of the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme is underway and has been rescheduled to Thursday, 14 May 2026. This is a proud moment for our nation. We will be celebrating this milestone achievement — a true example of bipartisan development — in Marondera Central Constituency, represented by CCC MP Hon. Caston Matewu. This project stands as a reminder that progress is possible when communities unite for the common good. The Presidential Special Investment and Empowerment Advisor, Dr. Paul Tungwarara, will officially hand over the project on behalf of President ED Mnangagwa. This initiative reinforces a simple truth: water knows no political parties. It serves every Zimbabwean, everywhere. Together, we celebrate development, unity, and the promise of a better tomorrow. #CAB3

Statement on President E.D. Mnangagwa’s Visit to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe President E.D. Mnangagwa’s visit to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe to inspect the nation’s gold vaults underscores a leadership approach that places transparency and accountability at the center of economic governance. By personally assessing the country’s strategic reserves, the President reinforces the importance of safeguarding national assets and ensuring that monetary authorities operate with openness and integrity. This commitment to transparent oversight plays a vital role in strengthening the local currency, particularly at a time when public confidence and economic stability are essential. Clear, visible leadership in the management of national reserves helps anchor expectations and supports the broader efforts to stabilize Zimbabwe’s financial system. Moreover, such actions send a strong signal to both domestic and international investors. Demonstrating that the highest levels of government are actively engaged in ensuring the credibility of monetary institutions contributes to boosting investor confidence, encouraging long-term investment, and fostering a more predictable economic environment.

Under the Presidential Hospital Rehabilitation Program, our efforts extend far beyond Parirenyatwa Hospital. Major upgrades are also underway at Mbuya Nehanda Hospital—now approximately 70 percent complete—as well as at Sally Mugabe Hospital and Mpilo Hospital. These projects represent some of the most significant investments in Zimbabwe’s public health infrastructure in recent years. According to Dr. Paul Tungwarara, all the hospitals currently under rehabilitation are expected to be completed and officially handed over before the end of this year. This accelerated progress reflects a strong commitment to improving healthcare delivery across the country. The ongoing work clearly demonstrates President ED Mnangagwa’s determination to advance the national development agenda and move the country closer to achieving Vision 2030. Strengthening the health sector is a key pillar of that vision, and these rehabilitation projects show tangible progress toward that goal. #CAB3
