@DrRJSimpson Statutory services see the 3rd Sector as a cheap servant, not a partner. Once upon a time that Sector had some influence, and could offer a constructive critique of social policy, often from a service users perspective. I think it might be a "brave" charity that did that today.

This is NOT what true partners do to each other. Third sector cuts and the sector is audited much more and more frequently than the statutory sector where some elements are barely audited at all. bit.ly/3SLAZu8 see my piece in RSE
