Tired of hearing “𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨”? Cool—𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁. Let’s stop discounting money’s role in life’s most meaningful domains. Money is more than 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 a tool; it's an 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿. Many thought leaders, financial gurus & advisors, money psychology experts, and societal norms statements are 𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱 to say this boldly, clearly, and confidently. Contrary to popular opinion, 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆. -time -wellbeing -quality of life -lifestyle -experiences -health -relational -familiy -love -faith -values -aspirations -retirement All of which are 'happiness' domains: 𝗬𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. Here's the list, and it is endless. Stay tuned for another post this week where I break down some of the often referenced science studies to 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 that money 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 buy happiness. To everyone who says money is 𝘯𝘰𝘵 a focus or some version of "𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺", is contributing to a costly discount of money's role in life's journey. 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆, and securing the income and assets to fund it is 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹. -So, yes. A focus on money deserves attention, management, and making of it. -If not, give all your money back and try advancing your human condition across your life domains with a lesser amount or without it. Do you want permission to prosper without guilt, judgment, or shame? Do you want to better understand your relationship with money and how it funds aspiration, purpose, meaning, values, and life's peaks and valleys? 👉🏾Grab your copy of 𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚: 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮. drprestoncherry.com/book/ What life domain is not listed but is important to you and requires the investment of money?

He thinks that the commentary from Fed Chair Jerome Powell will “tell us a lot.” “Staying pat right now, not causing or adding to the uncertainty, may be the best move,” he says. An inherited IRA isn’t “extra money.” It’s a tax event with a deadline. Since 2020, the rules have changed quietly, but the consequences are getting louder. Many beneficiaries are now required to drain inherited IRAs within 10 years, and starting in 2025, the IRS is enforcing penalties again for missed required withdrawals. That means timing matters. Income level matters. And assumptions based on old “stretch IRA” rules can lead to unnecessary taxes or costly mistakes, especially for people in their peak earning years. 👉🏾 Read the full breakdown here: tinyurl.com/cwmblogira

Quiet policy shifts could make 2026 a pivotal year for borrowers with rising incomes, especially those balancing student loans alongside retirement goals, family responsibilities, and long-term plans. When repayment rules evolve, the right strategy often changes with them. And knowing when to reassess can matter just as much as what you choose. 👉🏾 Read the full breakdown here: tinyurl.com/studentloan2026

If you’re a high-income earner, the 2026 student loan updates could take thousands away from your retirement savings, lifestyle plans, and future goals. With SAVE, IBR, RAP, and new eligibility rules all shifting, the numbers matter, but the timing matters even more, especially for Gen X who are already juggling so many financial priorities. If your income has gone up and you’re not sure how recertification or plan changes will affect your budget, this article explains what’s changing, why it matters, and how you can prepare. 👉🏾 Read the full breakdown: tinyurl.com/studentloan2026

This place used to feature rational discussions about big essays. Now folks I respect just insult critics' names, make off color jibes and ignore substance (at best). X is a virus that regresses otherwise normal smart people. All the good convos are now in walled gardens.

You ARE worthy of wealth abundance. 🙌🏼 Having money is not the issue, the problems arise when money becomes your self-worth or self-identity. 💸 👉🏼 The love of money is where it becomes a problem, not living in abundance or prosperity! concurrentfp.com

Travel is one of the clearest leading indicators of consumer confidence — especially for high-income earners. According to Deloitte’s 2025 Holiday Travel Report, travel plans are up… but travel budgets are down. And 80% of high-income households say they’re adjusting how they travel — fewer trips, cheaper seats, different lodging, and more cost-conscious transportation. That’s not fear. That’s financial awareness. When economic or market waters get choppy, intentional planning becomes essential. You can feel the pinch and still make pivots that protect your pocketbook — and even position you to participate when markets go “on sale.” Black Friday isn’t the only place where discounts show up. If you’re a high-income earner, what adjustments are you making for the holidays — and more importantly, for 2026? #FinancialHarmony #WealthWord #GenXMoney #Economy #WealthPlanning #LifeAlignedWealth

Most people think financial planning starts with numbers… but remember: it starts with your story. Financial statements aren’t just reports — they’re real chapters of your life. Every line item holds a memory, a decision, a moment you survived. And when you pull those statements together, you begin to see the bigger picture: Your money tells a story. You get to rewrite it. My book, Wealth in the Key of Life, talks about this, balancing money with meaning, and using your financial life as a tool for self-discovery, fulfillment, and real harmony. If you’re ready to understand your money in a deeper, more human way, this book is your next step. Learn more info and order your copy here: drprestoncherry.com/book/

Acknowledging your money anxiety isn’t a setback… it’s the doorway to change. When you say, “I want something different,” you unlock the motivation to build a plan rooted in clarity, compassion, and purpose. And that’s exactly what my book, Wealth in the Key of Life, is all about, seeing money not as a burden, but as a tool for self-discovery, well-being, and lifelong fulfillment. If you’re ready to understand what got you here, process the emotions behind your financial choices, and finally map out a path toward freedom, this is for you. When job growth slows and markets tilt, Gen X feels it first. You’re in your peak earning years—supporting family, paying a mortgage, saving for retirement—and then the headlines start rolling in: • Layoffs are rising • Markets are concentrated in just a few big names • Even Warren Buffett’s sitting on $381 billion in cash That kind of uncertainty can shake anyone’s confidence. But here’s the truth: financial readiness isn’t about predicting the next downturn—it’s about positioning yourself to move through it with calm and confidence. When life or markets wobble, readiness gives you options, and options bring peace of mind. #FinancialHarmony #GenXMoney #FinancialReadiness #WealthAndWellbeing #FinancialConfidence

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿. For too long, we’ve been taught that financial success comes from restriction, sacrifice, and “shoulds.” But what if your path to wealth begins with gratitude, not guilt? That’s what 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵™ are about. They’re not rules. They’re reminders. Because your money doesn’t just need management — it needs meaning. Here’s how the shift happens: 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻. Stop comparing. Your journey is yours alone. 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲. Redefine wealth. Don’t just accumulate. Include alignment. Life-aligned wealth. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. Give yourself permission to spend intentionally, not apologetically. 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀. You’re not behind. You’re in a season. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻. Your plan is your story. It’s your purpose-driven financial plan. When you align these five areas, something powerful happens — guilt turns into gratitude. Your choices start to feel lighter. Your plan feels like peace, not pressure. And prosperity stops being something you chase… and becomes something you live. 💡 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩? Once you give yourself permission, the plan follows. That’s the work I share in Wealth In The Key of Life —how to design wealth funds your well-being. You can find it in the comments. #FinancialHarmony #FinancialWellness #MoneyMindset #FinancialTherapy #Wealth #WellBeing #WealthInTheKeyofLife
