A lot of people will ask why I will write up this name or that name then not buy the stock? The answer is, there's honestly a lot of very investable small companies out there and having few enough investments that I can keep track of them, when I have money to throw in the market, and how close or certain the cataylst in my thesis is to playing out weigh into my decision to buy or not buy as much as the individual stock story. Sometimes I invest in one company over another simply because I have followed one of them for longer and just know one a little better. Trust in a business model or management team can take time.
