🚨 Hot off the press! 🚨 Our study on #AMR infections in travellers just published✈️🦠
Among 655 travellers with E. coli and K. pneumoniae infections:
🚑 Almost half hospitalised
🦠 >1/3 had isolates resistant to 3rd gen cephalosporins

- Bites painless (may go undetected)
- Slow feeders (attach for days)
- Preferred feeding sites vary (look in right places)
