Dr Abhishek Tandon highlighted that tuberculosis remains a contagious but curable disease, stressing the importance of early testing and complete treatment. He noted that symptoms such as persistent cough, fever, weight loss, and loss of appetite should not be ignored, and that timely diagnosis can help break transmission.
