So became a covid pos dad, My fam got it and I had to come back home. I have been bedridden for a bit. Everything hurts. My Git reminds it exists!! I am boostered. Slowing down was the hardest. Seeing indifference abt this frustrates me. I will make it. Others won’t so lucky.

@NikkiCrust I'm trying to promote VL as first line in my department, but I don't really have any clout to persuade. It is in the new PUMA guidelines, and using a videoscope doesn't mean you have to perform videolaryngoscopy. I've taken to stating my direct view out loud to make a point

Calling all anaesthetists /intensivists either in training or otherwise. Why would asking for a video laryngoscope to support intubation cause an “eye roll” or considered “weak” to ask for? Keen to understand cultural barriers to using VL to support safe intubation. Thank you
