This is the IPL dividend. We didn’t win any T20 WC in the 2010s. People always wondered, why is the country that hosts the biggest league, not able to get past West Indies or Australia to win the T20s. Only when IPL reached its adolescence. It’s adulthood. 16-18 years is when the IPL kids grew up to play for the nation with the same ruthlessness. It will continue. A team to beat. Which loses maybe once in 30 matches. The new Australia.

@WeekendInvestng In the SGB rule change , one thing is missing . It assumes that the secondary market buyer is holding for many years till redemption. What about someone who buys the May 26 series now. It gets redeemed in 3 months. They will still treat it as LTCG?

Recently met a senior real estate consultant who does very well in GGN markets. He also holds the DLF stock at 1000 rs. He bought this in 2008. He says i will not sell it below 1000. It has been 18 yrs and his exit has not yet come around even though it came very close in 2024. This emotional stubbornness can sometimes destroy your capital.
