@EddieMcstriplin It's more nuanced yes, but ultimately all the examples I posted are celebration of the superhero. In a way that something like Watchmen or O'Neil Question aren't, which are way more critical and realistic about the concept for valid reasons.

I feel "reconstruction" is a cope. New Frontier, for example is making DC's Silver Age cohesive like Marvel. Its goal is identifying the weakness of the original and subverting that in response to those weaknesses. I know that sounds "reconstructive", but that's deconstruction
