@Cryptomayhem ...FACTS! I had a brewery give me a pour of a beer while chatting with them recently...I went and handed the beertender a $5 for a tip. It is almost like people rely on money and not smiles to pay bills.

@drw1388 People constantly forget that breweries are in fact businesses. We have to make money so I get paid, and this is a very capital intensive industry. If I don't sell beer, I don't eat.

So, what do breweries/brewers/industry people think of "influencers" asking for FREE beer to "Post a picture and review" of? I do not like the idea for several reasons, but wanted to hear from others. Open to conversation

@Cryptomayhem Hahah.I hate the idea of people asking for beer to review. Breweries are FOR PROFIT, beer is their product. If you like the beer, buy the damn thing, drink it, give solid feedback...your followers will still learn that you loved the beer...but the brewery actually made money.

If I didn't work in this industry, what lengths would they go through to "protect their brand"? Would they have combed through my history to find where I work, then called there? What organization thinks it's a good idea to call an individual AT THEIR JOB?
