@Dr_AmerZeidan Tipping in Europe differs from country to country. More & more people don’t pay by cash and don’t tip anymore. That phenomenon increased due to the high inflation in Europe. That’s why some hotels offer the option for tipping (porter, cleaning service,..) while checking out.

Is tipping a hotel reception during checkout becoming a thing? When I was checking out from a hotel in europe last month & as I inserted my credit card in their computer, an option came out at the end if I enjoyed my checkout process & wanted to add a tip to reception desk?
